Nether Portal Issue

thepeachyviking and I were trying to mine in the nether, in the resource world. and we went thru the portal and it instantly killed us. We went to the mesa mining area, build a portal, went thru, and died. "suffocated in a wall" although there was no wall. I have no coords...

I'll have to try and disable portals from the Resource world. There are currently some portal bugs that haven't been completely fixed.

Yeah... the nether works fine in the sand portal, just not the Mesa for some reason.
What does this mean about possibly getting our items back?

Smitty's stuff has been returned and found thepeachyviking's stuff too. I destroyed the portal. Hopefully this will get patched soon...

That nether portal took you to a nether portal in the nether that was outside the worldborder. You just got crushed immediately..
